ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture is a holistic therapy that activates the body's natural healing processes through targeted stimulation of specific points on the body. Scientific research has shown that acupuncture can influence the autonomic nervous system—helping to regulate blood pressure, heart rate variability, and muscle activity. It also appears to affect brain function by supporting mitochondrial activity and promoting the restoration of the blood-brain barrier.
Very thin, single-use surgical steel needles are gently inserted at specific points on the body. Each treatment is tailored to your personal comfort level, and most people find the experience deeply relaxing.
While you don’t need to have a specific condition to benefit from acupuncture, it can be highly effective in addressing mental and emotional stress—including depression, insomnia, and anxiety—as well as chronic pain. Acupuncture also supports recovery from surgery or injury, promotes hormone balance and fertility, and can safely support all phases of pregnancy, including labor induction.
Sandy also offers facial acupuncture, complemented by facial Gua Sha massage. Facial Acupuncture stimulates circulation, boosts collagen production, and enhances muscle tone by targeting specific points on the face. This can help soften fine lines, reduce puffiness, improve skin texture, and promote a healthy, radiant glow—all while supporting the body’s internal balance. Facial Gua Sha is a gentle, hands-on technique using smooth stones to massage and sculpt the face. It encourages lymphatic drainage, reduces inflammation, releases facial tension, and improves blood flow. Regular sessions can lead to a brighter complexion, more defined facial contours, and a deeply relaxing experience.

Each individual is unique, and there is no one size fits all. A holistic nutritionist provides personalized guidance to help clients achieve optimal health through balanced, natural nutrition. Focusing on the connection between diet, lifestyle, and well-being, I will assess individual needs and create tailored meal plans, supplement strategies, and wellness routines. Beyond food, we will work together to consider emotional, physical, and environmental factors to support lasting, whole-body health.

During your first session, we’ll explore your current physical symptoms, dietary habits, and lifestyle through a comprehensive discussion and analysis.
Follow-Up Appointments
In follow-up sessions, we’ll review personalized recommendations aligned with your wellness goals. You’ll receive supportive tools such as recipe ideas and self-inquiry exercises to help you track your progress. Throughout the process, we’ll integrate principles from Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine to support balance and long-term well-being.
